In this guide, I will show you how to stake your EOS on Newpool.io for rewards (where this is called mining).

Note: We are staking while using the Wombat Wallet in this guide. It is possible to sign the transactions with other wallets such as Anchor.

Note: In this example, we use the Newpool Proxy for staking. Many other proxies pay rewards for your stake, such as:

Prerequisites:

  1. First, you want to ensure you're logged into your Wombat Browser Extension and that the correct EOS Account is selected. So log in and click on All accounts:

2. Then select the account where you have the EOS (by clicking it) you want to stake and click on SAVE: (in this example, we used our test account supportacc1e)

3. Now, with your browser, navigate to the Newpool.io website and click on Stake Now:

4. A new site opens where you get some staking information. Here you click on the orange button, Mine now:

5.

Now, you are asked to select your wallet. You can see desktop options on the left and mobile wallet options on the right. In this example, we choose the Wombat Wallet (at the moment, there's no Wombat mobile Wallet option):

6. When clicked on, Wombat should be automatically logged in. Check on the top right corner of the newpool.io site if your account's name appears:

7. Click on Mine now, and when the site pops up, enter the amount you want to stake next to Buy More and click the orange OK button.

Information: You can see that your mining reward consists of BP Income and REX Income.

8. Now your Wombat Wallet should pop up for you to Sign the transaction:

Congratulations! You successfully staked your EOS for rewards! You will get your daily staking rewards directly to your EOS Account.
