Over a few short months, EOS Respect developed into an influential community on the EOS Network. Read about Election #9 results, current operations, and what’s to come.

About EOS Respect

EOS Respect held its first election in August 2022. The decentralized organization forked blockchain-based software designed for next-gen elections. The technology known as RespectOS gave rise to the first iteration known as EOS Respect.

EOS Respect supports accountability and respect-based networking for qualifying projects on EOS. As an independent community, EOS Respect invites projects to apply for affiliation. EOS Respect members can also take part in elections to win funding and increase their visibility.

ELECTION #9: Greatness on the Horizon

EOS Respect’s ninth election was characterized by a focused community. An influx of new members continues to uplift already high spirits. The treasury grows over time. Maturing organizations that support EOS Respect mission produce week over week, like:

Each of the above organizations plays a pivotal role in helping to make the EOS Network a leader in the web3 space. EOS Audit’s dedicated staff produces unique, quantitative accountability. EOS Audit and EOS Respect together support independent projects working toward network growth. EOS Synergy helps attract and support new influencers and media resources. EOS Support ensures a positive network experience and a home base for new ecosystem ventures.

Another factor is the new website (soon to be released). There’s much to be excited about. Beyond features that help improve the general EOS experience, the new site will further strengthen the community. Members will have more opportunities and ways to network.

As for the election itself, the community selected six new CDs:

  • Andres Palmar

  • Cristhian Rincon

  • Chirochkin Evgeny

  • Haza

  • Nicolas Davoine

  • Sukanta Manna

The Head Chief Delegate was chosen by sortition. That honor went to Evgeny.

Current Statistics

Each month, the EOS Support team updates EOS Respect statistics. As a part watchdog organization, EOS Respect not only keeps tabs on ecosystem participants but also its own members and operations. Selected statistics (updated to include Election #9) are taken from EOS Respect Monthly Updated Numbers and Statistics:

  • Active members: 51

  • Treasury: 15,613.1148 EOS

  • Elections held: 9

  • Elected delegates since inception: 46

  • Promise kept: 24

  • In progress: 13

  • Number of donations: 100

  • Accounting finished: 68

  • Accounting in progress: 32

  • Affiliated projects with EOS Support: 32

OUTLOOK: Bold and Expansive

A sort of symbiotic relationship parallels the growth of both the EOS Network and the EOS Respect community. The EOS Network is led by a foundation tasked with management, growth, and innovation. It’s challenging to deliver impact innovation in an efficient manner.

Enter to EOS Respect and friends. Directly connected to affiliated (yet independent) projects and the individuals behind them, EOS Respect brings order to potentially disruptive elements that might otherwise threaten innovation. By design in concept and platform (new website coming soon), EOS Respect helps EOS soar to new heights and lead the web3 space.
