GameFi elevates creativity, passion, and understanding within the blockchain space. The EOS Network can provide multifaceted solutions that help close the gap between web2 and web3 applications. EOS EVM is the fastest option available. EOS games, like Upland, already prove what’s possible. $20M for EVM and GameFi development is unheard of. Prepare for something special.

MULTI-LEVEL SUPPORT

A lot of the same technologies that support an EOS EVM also support nextgen GameFi. Consider the recent successful deployment of inter-blockchain communication (IBC). New developments in instant finally accentuate IBC. EVM Name Service (EVMNS) and Greymass’ Wharf make direct inroads through web-like integration.

The EOS Network Foundation realized that high-quality development is only part of the solution. That’s why the foundation aggressively pursues public outreach and partnerships. Most recently, the ENF joined the Blockchain Gaming Alliance and attended the Game Developers Conference. EOS Network Ventures (discussed below) was announced within a week following the ENF’s VC partnership with the city of Busan.

A lot of factors are converging both on the development and investment spectrums. A partnership with Multichain and its network of 86 chains is another example. The timing is ideal for engaging EOS with a larger audience by deploying a revolutionary EVM.

DYNAMICS AND CHALLENGES OF TRANSITIONING TO WEB3

Online gaming is hardware and user intensive. Many of the most popular games require powerful personal computers and mobile devices. Gamers often push the limits of both their devices and the games they play.

There’s a reason why chats occur within games and not vice versa (for the most part). Games are social. The social aspects of games are a big reason why metaverse solutions are widely considered the future of online activity.

Gamers understand the value of digital assets. They are the ideal catalyst for the mass adoption of blockchain technology. However, gamers are demanding. Most blockchains are years away from being able to satisfy the expectations of traditional web2 gaming.

THE EOS NETWORK IS BUILT FOR WEB3 AND METAVERSE GAMING

Devoid of widespread interest in digital assets and substantially lower performance compared to web2 solutions, there’s little chance of mass adoption of cryptocurrencies and NFTs. The EOS Network offers unique solutions.

As more people become aware of the New EOS under the leadership of the EOS Network Foundation, web3 will seem more inevitable. That’s because EOS has proven to be secure while demonstrating competitive speed and functionality. At half-second block times, EOS can compete with many existing web2 products.

THE BEST EVM GETS A $20 MILLION INVESTMENT

Now factor in a new EVM that’s faster than the rest. Add to that an investment of $20M for GameFi by EOS Network Ventures (ENV), and again EOS shatters the status quo. The GameFi allocation is part of a larger ecosystem fund outlined last year.

EOS was changing the public perception of blockchain even before its first block was produced. EOS’ speed and potential quickly attracted billions of dollars in investment. A feat that would shock both the blockchain space and the larger tech sector in 2018.

In 2023, EOS EVM is poised to precipitate the same kind of interest. A bright future exists behind a vibrant community, inspired foundation, and more funding than any GameFi ecosystem has ever seen.
