EOS EVM is here! Well sort of. It was well worth the wait. Both EOS EVM’s speed and launching as a public good means the community gets a better-than-expected solution.
Game-Changing Speed
EOS EVM’s lighting fast swaps per second is a game-changer. Unparalleled performance extends beyond EOS and likely impacts crypto in general.
See the graphic Yves tweeted on January 18 to understand just how much faster EOS EVM compares with current EVMs.
Running on EOS
What was once a forgotten dream, became the surprise of the New Year. The ENF announcing that EOS, not a new token, will power the EVM seemed to come out of nowhere.
Early in development, complex features seemed better suited for a new token. A lot transpired over the last few months. Thankfully, EOS remains at the heart of the growing ecosystem.
Launch Date and More Details
ENF CEO Yves La Rose anticipates that the EVM will launch in March:
“Barring any unforeseen… issues, we’d be launching on mainnet… mid-to-end March”
