This short guide shows you how to install the safe and lightweight Metahub web extension and how to use it.
Prerequisites:
EOS, WAX or TELOS Account
Chrome or Chrome-based browser like Brave
STEP BY STEP
Go to the Metahub website and click on the pink button Install Now:
2. You are forwarded to the chrome web store where you click on the blue button Add to Chrome (or Add to Brave):
3.1 Once added to your browser, you want to pin your Metahub extension, so you see it next to your other extensions. Click on this puzzle icon (right corner of your browser):
3.2 Then click the pushpin symbol next to Metahub:
The Metahub extension logo should now be displayed at the right corner of your browser.
4. Open the Metahub extension by clicking on the Metahub symbol and select the correct language (if not already selected). Please click at the right corner to select preferred language:
5. Now you can choose a safe password for your Metahub extension. Generate or invent one and fill it in both fields. Then click on start using:
6. You can now import your EOS Account (you can choose a different network as well) by entering the Private Key of your Active Permission (recommended), clicking the checkbox (terms and conditions) and then click on Import:
