The EOS Papa Account Service is a public service. It offers convenient ways to create EOS Accounts with EOS Wallets like Anchor and Start Wallet OR from a central exchange Wallet (with Transit Service).

Moreover, you can claim a free NPP airdrop after account creation.

In this article we provide a brief overview of these different methods and a short how-to guide.

  1. Smart contract automatic registration

  • For the ones who already have an EOS Account.

  • EOS Papa is a public service and doesn't charge anything.

  • 0.06 EOS is charged by the EOS system and is used to purchase RAM.

    • The advanced method with 2 keypairs costs 0.1 EOS.

Simple method via eospapa.com website

Note: You will find the advanced method below. We recommend it for security reasons.

Create a key pair with an offline key-tool like eoskey (download from Github). or Anchor Wallet's key generator (go offline when generating) and secure the keys properly. Here's a guide on how to back up your keys.

Go to the website eospapa.com and log in with your Wallet.

Then click on Smart contract automatic registration (you find it below the info text).

On the next site, fill in the requested informations:

  • Your desired account name (12 digits containing exclusively small letters from a-z and numbers from 1-5)

    • check first on a block explorer like bloks.io if the name is still available.

  • And your Public Key

  • After filling, click on the blue button create and sign the transaction with your Wallet. Check on a block explorer like bloks.io to verify account creation.

  • Congratulations! You have successfully created a new EOS Account!

Simple method
