NFTs (non-fungible tokens) are digital assets representing real-world objects like music, art, items, and property in games, including online multiplayer games or digital art trading. Every day there are new NFT drops on digital marketplaces like Nifty Gateway, Rarible, Axie Marketplace, and many more. This guide will show you how to create your NFT on the EOS-based platform Atomichub.io.

Before we start, make sure you have the following:

  • EOS Account

  • Anchor Wallet installed, and EOS Account imported

  • At least 1000 bytes of RAM for transactions

  • Unique piece of art/picture/music/video you want to use to create an NFT

Note: In this tutorial, we will not use orientation arrows and boxes in the print screens. The elements to be selected and commands and texts to be entered are highlighted.

1. Open the website Atomichub.io and select the EOS tetrahedron next to the orange login button. Click the orange SELECT AND CLOSE button to confirm.

2. Now click on the orange LOGIN button. Then select Anchor to open your Anchor Wallet to sign the transaction.

3. Select the NFT Creator in the main menu and buy some RAM if needed. You'll need some RAM to create an NFT. To add RAM, click on Buy More.

4. You can enter the amount of RAM you would like to add in Bytes. Confirm your purchase by clicking the Confirm button. In this guide, we will not purchase RAM since we already have 4kb of RAM on our test account.

5. Click on Create New Collection.

6. Click on Upload Collection Logo, and choose a file to upload. You can change the sizes of the logos by moving the orange dot on the horizontal bar. When you're done, click on Upload.

7. Now you're required to enter the following:

  • Your collections name (consisting of 12 characters containing letters exclusively from a-z and numbers from 1-5).

    • In the example, we choose eosreturns22.

  • Display Name.

    • In the example, we choose EOS art collection.

  • Website URL (optional)

  • Your desired Market Fee (the % you get of the sale every time you or someone sells your created NFTs)

    • In this example, we choose 1 %

  • Collection Description

    • We choose: This is a collection of digital artworks all around the EOS Token.

8. OPTIONAL: Under the Collection Description, you can add a Banner (1929x500 pixel) and a Logo (512x512 pixel). When adding these, please upload the images in the requested format.

To add a Banner and/or a Logo, click on the small white cloud symbols:

And then choose the right file from your computer, and click on Upload Image.

If the uploads were successful, you should see the created hash numbers:

9. OPTIONAL: Scroll down and fill in more detailed information. If you like to allow other accounts to drop NFTs from this collection, choose Add account under Authorized Accounts and fill in the desired account(s). For this guide we add supporteos12 and supportacc1l.

  • You can also add the account atomicdropsx. This will give authority to atomichub for future NFT drops while using this account if you do not intend to make NFT drops.

10. Click on Create Collection and sign the transaction via Anchor Wallet. If the transaction was successful, you should see something like this:

11. Gratulations, your collection has been created successfully!

12. You want to click on the Edit button to create the actual NFT.

13. Scroll down and click on Create New NFTs.

14. Click on Select Schema.

15. Click on Create New Schema.

16. Name your new Schema (consisting of 12 characters containing letters exclusively from a-z and numbers from 1-5). In this example, we choose moonriderz22.

17. OPTIONAL: Click on Add New Attribute. In this example, we add Attribute Name: about and Attribute Type: Text

18. You confirm the Schema with its added Attribute by clicking the Create button. After signing this transaction via Anchor Wallet, you should see this message with your transaction code displayed.

19. We want to create a new template to continue the process. To navigate through the website again:

  • Click NFT Creator on the main menu.

  • Click on the created collection - in our case eosreturns22.

  • Click on the orange Edit button.

  • Scroll down and click on Create New NFTs.

  • Click on Select Schema and select the new Schema. In our case moonriderz22.

  • Click on Select Template:

20. Here you want to choose to Create New Template.

21. First click on Upload Image/Video and upload the file for your Template.

22. When the file is uploaded, a hash number has been created below to img.

23. Enter the maximum supply for your NFT. In our case, we choose 22.

24. Fill in the attributes and click on Create Template.

25. Confirm the Template creation by checking the Terms and Service box and clicking CREATE TEMPLATE.

26. Sign the transaction with Anchor Wallet and wait till it goes through. When you see the following screen with your Transaction ID you've just created your new Template!

27. You can now scroll down to Asset Data and give in the Asset Recipient and the number of copies you want to mint.

28. Then scroll down and click on Create. Again you have to check the Terms and Service box to proceed with CREATE NFT.

29. You successfully minted this NFT(s).

30. You can go back to Create NFT and open your Collection to see your first minted NFT.

31. Go back to the main page and click on your account name in the right upper corner. Then click on My Inventory.

32. You see your recently minted NFT. Click on it for further details.

33. There it is, your new NFT. Congratulations!

34. Great, you made it to the end of this tutorial! Please check out our next tutorial on how to drop your NFT.
