How to change the API in Anchor and Scatter Wallets

If a wallet is not working, there could be a problem with the API used by the wallet. Changing the API to another could be a solution; below, you will find detailed step-by-step guides on how to do this.

Change the API in the Anchor Wallet

1. Click on the blockchain icon.

2. Go on Manage Blockchains.

3. Click on the settings icon (EOS Blockchain).

Here you can enter the default node for the blockchain:

Note: If your wallet is not working, change the default node to another API address (list above). Click on the blue Save button to confirm after you have pasted the new API.

Change the API in the Scatter Wallet (Scatter is outdated)

  1. Click on your profile icon.

  2. Then go to the network icon.

Click on the settings icon of the EOS blockchain.

Enter an API.
