How to create an MSIG Account with bloks.io

How to create an MSIG for the active permission of your EOS Account.

Step-by-step guide

First, make sure that your owner keypair differs from your active keypair.

Login to bloks.io with your active (or your owner's) permission:

Click:

1. Wallet

2. Keys and Permissions

3. Advanced

4. Permission #2: active

1. Remove the active key (If you still want your active key to have access, don't delete it). One use case would be that you would like to give access to your friends if you lose your key. So they could access your Account with a Multi-Sig).

2. Click on Add Account and write the EOS Accounts which you like to add.

3. Change the Threshold to at least 2. In this example, 3 was chosen.

4. Add all desired EOS accounts for the MSIG alphabetically sorted.
Adjust the weight of the Accounts. Since the first Account is more trusted, we gave it more weight (2 votes weight) than the other Accounts (1 vote weight).

5. If you like to add time delay as a security feature, enter the time in seconds (3600 seconds for one hour or 86400 seconds for 24 hours).

6. click on Save and sign the transaction with your Wallet.

Your Account should look like this now:

If you had a different owner keypair than your active keypair, you still have complete control with your owner's permission, but you have an MSIG now on your active permission.
